A film with Brian Epstein played by John Simm and John Lennon played by Christopher Eccleston. Because... well... it would kill two pairings with one stone. And be wildly amazing.

A Dr Who/Supernatural crossover where it is revealed that the Doctor is the God that Castiel seeks, and he is not what the angel expects. Any incarnation would do, though the darker ones (eight onwards) would probably be more appropriate.

Oh yes. Like Ann-Margret, Ed Sullivan, Rock Hudson, Perry Mason, Carry Grant, and Tony Curtis, Brian Epstein had a "guest appearance" on Hanna Barbara's classic American cartoon, The Flintstones. Purple scarf and all, typical dark circles under his eyes, and equipped with a strange pseudo-British accent and a Swinging London love for the use of colourful adjectives. (I was surprised they didn't make his character say "grotty", after they put him through "kinky".) Still not as terrible as the Beatle cartoons. In fact, pretty good in comparison. At least he's got a nice car.

The premier of the sixth season, There's No Biz Like Show Biz, was recorded on 13 April 1965 and aired in the US on 17 Sept. 1965 on ABC. In the UK it played on BBC1. Naturally the audience was expected to get the reference to The Beatles, no question about that. But since it was also the first cartoon geared for an adult audience, there was still much sympathy for Fred Flintstone when he complained about the teenage pop culture taking over America.

Author: demeterqueen
Pairing: Brian/Joe implied
Rating: PG-13 for language
Word Count: ~500
Summary: Brian Epstein and Joe Flannery become stuck in traffic after a show. Brian's POV.

Author's Note: A ridiculous amount of research went into making the references to My Fair Lady as natural and unassuming as possible. The rest is entirely fiction. This was written back in May as my first attempt at Brian's point of view. For those of you who don't know Joe Flannery, might I suggest reading this post?

Find yourself asking that question? :D

No, I haven't disappeared entirely from [info]johnheartpaul, despite the rumours and messages I've gotten to the contrary. Yes, you're more likely to find me on [info]beatlesslash because my OTP right now is not John Lennon and Paul McCartney but rather Brian Epstein and Peter Brown. Yes, that's a sad thing for my chances of writing another j/p story but don't dispair just yet.

The truth of the matter is I find myself over at [info - personal] demeterqueen. That's right, I've moved to dreamwidth.org. Why? Their posting system has fewer errors. I'm pretty tired of livejournal eating my posts and my roleplay comments. In fact, the first version of the post got eaten by the hungry goat.

So if you were a friend over on [info]demmieq, which was my "personal journal", I'd like to tell you that those posts and more can now be found on my dw.

The reason I'm making the post is because I know that some of you have problems with [info]beatlesslash, and have chosen not to be members there. The majority of my fiction has been member-locked on [info]beatlesslash for my own reasons. I'd like to tell you that it's totally open and unlocked on my dw. In fact, there is a revised (for historical accuracy) version of my Movement/Lover/Schemes Verse on my dreamwidth, which cannot be found anywhere else.

Also, a majority of my new stories will be up at dw before they will be found anywhere on lj. The second chapter of All My Little Plans and Schemes is in the planning process (I haven't abandoned it after all!) but you will find it on dreamwidth first.

If you'd like to join dreamwidth and haven't already, I have a few access codes stashed away for my friends. You also have the option of commenting via Open ID, which will link right back to your livejournal. Please consider registering an Open ID account just because it may make your life easier someday. The great thing about Open ID is that I can also give you access to reading my locked posts, without your membership.

I hope all of you are having a safe and pleasant summer!
